Valentino Piran

Valentino Piran was born in Vicenza, Italy. He completed his undergraduate studies at the Italian Conservatory of Music
"A. Pedrollo"in Vicenza, Italy, where he graduated Summa Cum Laude in piano performance and completed the Master of
Music in Orchestral Conducting at the University of North Carolina School of the Arts . His conducting teachers have included
Giancarlo Andretta, Pierangelo Valtinoni, Ransom Wilson.
Mr. Piran is the founder, principal conductor and musical director of Orchestra Palladio, in Vicenza, a professional ensemble.
His original recordings "Viator", 2002 and "Piano Solo", 2005. He was awarded a scholarship to the Berklee College of Music in
Bostonas well as a scholarship promoted by SIAE (the Italian association of authors and publishers) for Centro Europeo di
Toscolano's course for composers. Maestro Piran and family live in Greensboro, NC.
